Funding available for Bucks-based organisations responding to the coronavirus

Heart of Bucks, the Community Foundation for Buckinghamshire, recently set up the Bucks Coronavirus Response Appeal to support charities in Buckinghamshire who are most affected and vulnerable at this time of crisis.

Heart of Bucks have also received funding from the National Emergencies Trust (NET) Coronavirus Appeal to distribute locally.

Both appeals and the funds generated from them are the result of generous donations from individuals and businesses wanting to make a difference at a time where we all feel a little helpless.

If you are a Buckinghamshire charity, organisation or community group currently running activities or projects to help alleviate some of the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic in the local community, then Heart of Bucks would love to hear from you.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available from both the Bucks Coronavirus Response Appeal and the NET Coronavirus Appeal to groups helping the most vulnerable people in the community.

To learn more, and to apply for funding for both funds with just one application form, head to heartofbucks.org.uk/coronavirus-response-funds.

Want to support the Bucks Coronavirus Response Appeal?

Heart of Bucks would be incredibly grateful for any amount that you’re able to donate to support this cause.

If you’d like to help, you can donate online by heading to their Total Giving page (totalgiving.co.uk/appeal/coronavirus-response-appeal).

If possible, please gift aid your kind donations to maximise the urgent assistance they are able to give the local community.
